Story
Scoring 87.75, this fresh arrival translates the mineral-rich flanks of the Atitlán, Tolimán, and San Pedro volcanoes into a cup alive with black-cherry, clementine, and a milk-chocolate. Sweet, light-citrus aromatics mingle with gentle malt, while the break releases bursts of dried clementine and airy florals. On the palate, dense black-cherry and molasses notes intertwine with caramel, cashew, and soft malt, framed by mandarin-bright acidity and a velvety body that lingers in milk-chocolate cream. Grown 1,600–1,850m above Lake Atitlán on young volcanic loam, the lot shows the clarity and layered sweetness for which this terroir is celebrated.
